Wortlaut

7.3.2 CAN Controller State Transitions A state transition is triggered by software with the function Can_SetControllerMode with the required transition as parameter. A successful state transition triggered by software is notified by the callback function (CanIf_ControllerModeIndication). The monitoring whether the requested state is achieved is part of an upper layer module and is not part of the Can module. Some transitions are triggered by events on the bus (hardware). These transitions cause a notification by means of a callback function. The behavior for invalid transitions in production code is undefined. 7.2 shows all valid state transitions.
