5.2.2 LIN Transceiver Driver Optionally, the LIN Interface requires the services of the underlying LIN Transceiver Driver specified by [18]. The LIN Interface maps the following services for all underlying LIN Transceiver Drivers to one unique interface. • Unique LIN Transceiver Driver mode request and read services to manage the operation modes of each underlying LIN transceiver device. • Read service for LIN transceiver wake up reason support. • Mode request service to enable/disable/clear wake up event state of each used LIN transceiver. The LIN Interface does not use or access the LIN hardware or assume information about it any way other than what the LIN Transceiver Driver provides through the function calls to the LIN Transceiver Driver listed above.
